The seaside holiday centre of Blairgowrie is situated on the Mornington Peninsula, nestled between the popular beach resorts of Sorrento and Rye. The Blairgowrie township facing the beach on Port Phillip Bay, is set back from the main coastal road along the peninsula and is surrounded by parkland. This creates a delightful setting for the town. As well as the Bay beaches, Blairgowrie also provides access to some of the best ocean ('back') beaches in Victoria.
