The beautiful holiday and daytrip destination of Broulee is located about 300 km south from Sydney and 250 km east Canberra on the South Coast of New South Wales. Broulee is renowned for its beautiful beach and island. It provides a fablous spot for a daytrip, extended holiday or a weekend getaway for families and couples exploring the delights of the Eurobodalla Coast. Broulee is located just 20 km away from all the attractions, facilities and entertainment of Batemans Bay which is the regional and administrative centre. Broulee has a pictureque setting with the lovely island lying offshore from the beach. The main back dune on the beach has been kept with its original vegetation and this provides a beautiful backdrop for the beach. Broulee has a host of attractions and great amenities and
facilities for a wide range of vacation and recreational activities, including: relaxing with family and friends on the beach, bushwalking, mountain bike rides, scuba diving and snorkelling at many locations, fishing from the beach and rocks, swimming and fabulous surfing. There are several surf schools where you can learn to ride the waves on your own or a hired board. The location of Pink Rocks situated off the north end of the island is well-known as one of the best surfing locations in the Batemans Bay area. Canoeing and kayaking are also popular pastimes. You can paddle out from the beach and around Broulee Island, which lies about 120 metres south of North Broulee Beach. Candlagan Creek has a beautiful lagoon with sheltered waters that is ideal for children and families and children.
