What's on in Hastings Point
The charming holiday centre of Hastings Point is located about 25 km south of Tweed Heads in the Tweed Coast Region of Northern New South Wales. It is a favourite family holiday location with excellent fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, surfing and a wide range of other activities available locally and in the other towns and villages just a short drive away. Hastings Point has a long and very attractive sandy beach. Nearby is Cudgera Creek that provides wonderful opportunities for fishing, canoeing, kayaking and swimming. Hastings Point is famous as one of the best spots on the East Coast of Australia for catching the elusive Luderick (Black Fish) and many other estuarine species. Holiday activities in the area include swimming, surfing, fun on the beach; snorkelling, canoeing
and kayaking, scuba diving and lots of fishing. There are many fascinating headlands and rock pools to explore and excellent bush walks in the area. All the pubs and clubs of Tweed Heads and Coolangatta are just half an hour away.
