What's on in Redhead Beach, NSW


Redhead Beach is located close to Newcastle in the Hunter and Hunter Valley Region of New South Wales. The beach part of a string of beaches stretching from Redhead to Swansea. Redhead Beach is a wonderful location for kayaking, canoeing, surfing, swimming, kite surfing, wind surfing and fishing. The sheltered waters of stunning Lake Macquarie are located about 10 km away and offer fabulous sailing, windsurfing boating and fishing.. The lake about 5 times as large as Sydney Harbour and provides a wide range of water activities including, house boats, kite surfing, sailing, water skiing, parasailing, canoeing and kayaking, fishing, kite sailing and all types of boating. Visitors can also walk along Nine Mile Beach, which has a patrolled beaches at either end - at Redhead Beach and Blacksmiths Beach. There is a wide variety of entertainment and amusements in Newcastle and the surrounding towns.
