Abbotsford is a suburb in Melbourne Victoria, that is located about 2 km east from Melbourne's CBD in the Yarra local Government area.
Abbotsford is bounded by Richmond, Collingwood and Clifton Hill and is divided from Kew by the Yarra River. One of the most famous local
landmarks is Dights Falls, where the Yarra River joins Merri Creek. It is a favourite location for kayakers and picnicers. Cyclists can
follow the Yarra River Trail which tracks along the the Yarra River from the centre of Melbourne to Dight's Falls. Cyclists can
continue riding along the Merri Creek Trail which is in turn part of the Capital City Trail. Another great spot for recreation is the lovely Studley Park which merges with the much larger Yarra Bend Park. Studley Park contains Dights falls and also features a golf course,
