The beautiful weekend getaway and holiday destination of Bateau Bay is located on the Central Coast of New South Wales, between The Entrance and Terrigal Beach. Bateau Bay has wonderful selection of local sites and attractions and great facilities available for a huge array of water-based activities including: Boat Cruises and Charters; Surfing; Fishing; Swimming; Canoeing; Kayaking, Bike riding; Wind Surfing; Horse riding; Recreation and Sports Clubs; National Parks; Golf; and many fine sporting and recreational clubs, and cafes, fresh seafood outlets, fine restaurants and cafes. Bateau Bay has a beautiful beach that is ideal for surfing and swimming. You can take a delightful bushwalk along the fascinating Coast Walking Track that extends from Blue Lagoon to Crackneck Lookout, or to Wyrrabalong Lookout. These lookouts, the beaches and headlands are great places to watch whales as they swim close to shoreline along the coast during their northern and southern migrations. You can go fishing from the sandy beaches, rocks, lake and river shoreline. You can also launch your own boat or enjoy a charter boat to fish the very productive offshore waters or in the more remote and sheltered parts of Tuggerah Lake.
