Burrill Lake is a small, picturesque coastal lagoon and beach holiday resort town, established just a few minutes south of Ulladulla on a very scenic section of the Sholahven Region, on the South Coast of New South Wales. Most of the low shorelines of Burrill Lake are bordered with pristine native bush and the lagoon area is a boating and fishing paradise. Burrill Lake has wonderful facilities and amenities supporting a wide range of activities such as surfing, windsurfing, canoeing, delightful beaches, angling, water skiing, scenic cruises, sea and lake swimming, ecotourism,boating (there are excellent boat ramps for lake and ocean access). Canoeing and kayaking along bush-lined coastal lagoon is very popular. Other leisure undertakings and amenities accessible in the locality encompass picnics,
bike pathways, park and BBQ facilities. You can explore the sandy tracks that lead from the reserve to the isolated Burrill Beach, which has excellent surf and magnificent coastal scenery. The Burrill Lake inlet and beach are to the east of the highway, with the lake to the west and most of the facilities next to the road. Boats, skis, canoes and kayaks are available for hire to explore the lake. Visitors love the Lake Cruises and Fishing Charters aboard the `Tracey Lee`, which is a 7.5 m catamaran that has refreshments and barbecue amenities onboard and a toilet. The angling charters run for about 4 hours, in both the afternoon and morning. All bait and angling gear is provided and fishing tuition is available. Scenic cruises run for about 2 hours and offer full commentary on the local history
of the lagoon and the bird life.
