Dalmeny is located on the Eurobodalla Coast in Southern New South Wales, between Batemans Bay and Merimbula and just 7km from Narooma. Dalmeny is a small vacation and tourist town offering excellent attractions and great amenities and facilities for a wide range of recreational activities including: canoeing, kayaking, swimming, boating, surfing, all types of fishing - rock, shore, beach, boat, offshore, and camping, mountain biking, bushwalking in the nature reserves in the area. Dalmeny Beach is well-liked and is great for surfing, fishing, swimming and bodyboarding. The beach is patrolled by local lifesaver groups throughout

Dalmeny Beach is surrounded by the Eurobodalla National Park and there are many fabulous beaches in the area including: Carters Beach (Kianga), Mystery Bay and Yabbarra Beach which is very popular with experienced surfers. Visitord to Yabbarra Beach should beware of the rips near the rock which can pose a danger at certain times. There are many beautiful cycling and walking paths through Dalmeny, including coastline trials. Visitors can enjoy bushwalking and camping in the Eurobodalla National Park. Dalmeny has many public boat ramps, picnic spots and scenic lookouts and entertainment in Narooma, Merimbula and Nowra.
