The holidays and week-end getaway destinations of North and South Durras are established in the Eurobodalla Shire (Nature Coast) on the Southern Coast of New South Wales about 17 km north of Batemans Bay. Lake Durras has very good angling and boating and angling and it can be easily accessed from the boat ramps at North Durras. There are a delightful range of accommodation available in the wider area including cabins, vacation houses and villas, apartments, caravan parks and camping grounds. South Durras has a magnificent and very popular surfing beach. In the hinterland there are numerous bushwalking and mountain bike trails, picnic areas and camping spots in Murramarang National Park and the other nature reserves. Murramarang National Park is a good place to see parrots, lizards, bandicoots, kangaroos, possums, marine life and the magnificent wilderness areas of the nationwide park. Pebbly Beach is just a 10 minutes away by car. There is a wide range of entertainment, amusements, cafes, clubs and taverns in Batemans Bay.
