The Eastern Suburbs Region of Sydney includes the suburbs and facilities lying directly to the east, south and south-east of the Sydney CBD, between Sydney Harbour and Port Hacking and Cronulla. It includes the suburbs within the districts of Woollahra, Rockdale, Kogarah, Hurstville,Waverley and Randwick. It includes Sydney University and the University of New South Wales. There are many major Rugby Leagues Clubs, taverns, nightclubs and other entertainment and amusement venues in the Eastern and Southern suburbs. The area has fabulous beaches and many wonderful golf courses and a variety of other recreational facilities so close to the city centre. This region includes some of the premier heritage buildings in the older inner city Suburbs of Sydney. The region has a large range of accommodation,
recreational facilities, amenities and attractions which support a wide range of activities.
