Erowal Bay is a small tranquil seaboard village on the shores of St Georges Basin, west of Jervis Bay on the Shoalhaven Coast of New South Wales. It is enclosed by National Parks and offers a wide choice of recreational and holiday activities for couples and families. There are excellent tourist amenities in the district including: leisure centres, golf courses, clubs, taverns, bistros, shopping centres, tennis courts, cafes and cinemas. At Erowal Bay there is a service station, public jetty, shops, boat shop, and a tavern and the other St Georges Basin towns are nearby including Sanctuary Point and Sussex Inlet.
