What's on in Hallidays Point, NSW


Hallidays Point is a calm, quiet shoreline vacation town located only about 15 km distance from both Forster and Taree that provide a wonderful range of entertainments and amusements. Hallidays Point features a large surfing beach with BBQ and picnic facilities and an excellent rock sea pool for swimming and exploring the marine life. The best known surfing is at Blackhead Beach and the other beaches in the area are ideal for swimming, surfing, canoeing and families. There are excellent angling from the headlands rock and beaches in the locality. The excellent range of attractions and facilities for a wide range of activities have made Hallidays Point a very popular holiday venue and daytrip venue for people in the Manning Valley. There are very good mountain bike and bushwalking trails between the Black Head and Red Head promontories, boasting scenic seaboard landscapes, heathlands and remnants of littoral rainforests. The township at Hallidays Point has a mail agency and several shops, and numerous accommodation options right on the beachfront. The local sandy beaches are patrolled by life savers during the summer months. There is even a sandy beach and shore on which you can take your 4WD vehicles for fishing trips. Hallidays Point has excellent amenities including tennis courts, a local bowling club and a local tavern.
