Hyams Beach is a delightful small bayside town and beach on the coastlines of Jervis Bay in the Shoalhaven Coast Region in Southern New South Wales. Hyams Beach is located about 40 km south of Nowra and 300 km south of Sydney and just 15 minutes drive from Huskisson and Vincentia. There are three magnificent embayment beaches in the locality, Seamans Beach to the south, Hyams Beach and Chinamans Beach to the north. The biggest is Seamans Beach, which extends for about 2 kilometres. Hyams Beach offers a unique experience - you can relax on the beautiful white beach under the shade of eucalypt trees. The natural bushland setting provides an attractive backdrop to this attractive beach. Hyams Beach faces approximately north-east, with views overlooking Jervis Bay towards the lighthouse on Point Perpendicular. The sand at these three beaches is supple and fine and is well known as being amongst the whitest sand in the world. Hyams Beach is enclosed by Jervis Bay National Park and Booderee National Park. Hyams Beach a attractive natural wilderness area with plenty of birdlife, animals,and native plants and is a good spot for swimming and snorkelling. There is a broad variety of bayside places to stay at Hyams Beach and in the surrounding villages and lots of entertainment options in Huskisson and Nowra.
