Mylestom also known as North Beach is a charming small angling and vacation township established just inside the mouth of the beautiful Bellinger River on the North Coast of New South Wales about 20 km from Bellingen. Mylestom offers fabulous offshore fishing in the sea offshore of the coast as well as excellent rock beach and estuary fishing. There are very good amenities for a wide range of water based recreational activities and bushwalking in the hinterland areas. Close by are a range of beaches that are secluded and calm and are very appealing for just resting on the beach. The locality is well renowned for its world-renowned go-kart raceway and also is the base for Australia's most easterly vineyard - The Raleigh Winery which makes a magnificent variety of boutique white and lightweight red wines. The Raleigh International Raceway, which is considered by many enthusiasts as Australia`s best go-kart racing track. The course is very highly ranked in the Southern Hemisphere and is graded in the peak 10 racetracks of this kind in the world. The magnificent surfing and bathing beach at North Beach is patrolled by life savers throughout the summer months and the lower reaches of the Bellinger River and estuary presents additional possibilities for canoeing, boating, kayaking, angling, wind-surfing, bathing, and water skiing. There are many entertainment and amusement options in Bellingen and Coffs Harbour.
