Red Rock is a delightful, charming and secluded seaside town on the Coffs Coast, located about 350 km south of Brisbane and 500 km north of Sydney. It is located close to Corindi Beach about 60 km from Coffs Harbour and 30 km from Woolgoolga on the north coast of New South Wales. Red Rock is located at the entrance to the Corindi River and the estuary, river and beach provide ideal conditions for a large range of activities including: estuary, beach, offshore and river fishing; swimming, kite surfing, canoeing, kayaking, surfing, scuba diving, snorkelling and just sitting back and relaxing on the local beaches. The main fish species targeted are jewfish, whiting, flathead and bream. There are 2 major surf beaches in the area: Back Beach which extends all the way south to Woolgoolga and Red Rock beach at the river mouth. There is wonderful swimming for the family in the sheltered waters of the estuary. You can jump into the water and float upstream or downstream with the tide. Visitors can take daytrips to Coffs Harbour and Woolgoolga and join whale watching cruises and fishing charters and explore all the attractions and facilities on the coast and in the hinterland areas.
