Rosedale is located in the Eurobodalla Coast Region of southern New South Wales, south of Malua Bay, and north of Tomakin, Guerilla Bay and Broulee. Rosedale, lies to the east of Mogo and about just 15 km south of Batemans Bay. Both Moruya and Batemands Bay are large regional centres that offer a broad variety of entertainment options including clubs, cafes, restaurants, pubs and live music and performances. Rosedale is a secluded, quiet and relatively undeveloped area, with fabulous rivers, wetlands, waterways, beaches and very scenic coastal landscapes. The closest shopping centre is at Malua Bay, which also has food outlets. The lovely secluded beaches of Nuns Cove and Tranquil Bay are sheltered by rugged, rocky headlands and offer calm swell conditions most of the time. There are many delightful
inlets, bays and coves along the coast between Moruya and Bateman's Bay that are just perfect for relaxing under a variety of wind and wave conditions. The coastal landscapes are attractive for bushwalking, mountain bikes and nature lovers. The peninsular and headlands offer wonderful vantage points for watching dolphins playing in the waves and whales migrating along the coast.
