Somersby is a delightful semi-rural area located on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia, northwest of Gosford along the Pacific Highway that extends south to Sydney and north to Newcastle. The Somersby areas features many attractions and amusements includes parts of the Brisbane Water National Park, Mount Penang Parklands, the Woolshed Function Centre and the Australian Reptile Park. Somersby is close to Peats Ridge and the other entertainment hub is Gosford. Somersby has a famous equestrian centre, and is renowned for its horse riding adventures. The Australian Reptile Park is well worth a visit and boasts wonderful reptile displays and exhibitions of other native and bizarre animals in a beautiful parkland setting. a wide range of reptiles, wombats and dingoes. You and your family can help feed the friendly Kangaroo Island, Gray and Red kangaroos. Visitors can also be photographed many of the animals including a large snugly python or a cuddly koala.
