The Mid-North Coast regional centre of Taree is situated on the Manning River about 330 km north-east of Sydney on the Coast of New South Wales. It is a large modern, beautiful township servicing the surrounding rural industries, the various Manning Valley communities. It is also a tourist who regard Taree as an ideal holiday base for exploring the range of lakes, rivers, coastal landscapes, beaches, wetlands and hinterland national parks, conservation reserves, state forests in the area.
