The Entrance is a much loved customary vacation destination that is established on a slender neck of land between Tuggerah Lake and the sea in the Central Coast Region of New South Wales, south of Newcastle and north of Sydney. Further to the north is the renowned Munmorah State Conservation Area that has attractive seaside walks and wonderful wildflower displays in spring. The Entrance is one of the best and most popular tourist destination on the Central Coast with a wide variety of places to stay and entertainment options locally and in Gosford and Terrigal.
