The small holiday township of Tomakin lies on the Eurobodalla Coast, in southern New South Wales, at the entrance to the beautiful Tomaga River. The nearby locations of Tomakin and Mossy Point have excellent boat ramps and wonderful angling. You can hire boats at Tomakin for fishing and scenic tours. The main fish species sought in the area are: whiting, mullet, luderick, prawns, bream, flathead as well as blue swimmer crabs in season. You can try fishing at the river mouth, near the rock walls, along the edge of the sand flats, from the jetties and adjacent to the weed and mud flats.
