Yamba is a delightful holiday town located on the north Coast of New South Wales about 70 km north- east of the Regional centre of Grafton, 100 km north of Coffs Harbour and 120 km south of Byron Bay. Yamba lies at the mouth of the mighty Clarence River and squeezed between the Bundjalung and Yuraygir National Parks, and has great facilities for a gigantic array of pristine aquatic and land based environments for exploring and enjoying various types of recreation. Yamba has an perfect weather, magnificent coastlines, sandy beaches, fantastic angling, fabulous surfing, excellent cruising and boating, and a wonderful array of truly unbelievable fresh seafood outlets and restaurants. Yamba has a total of eleven attractive sandy beaches to select from. The most well liked are Main Beach, which is patrolled during the summer months by the Yamba Surf Life Saving Club and has excellent snorkelling and diving spots. Some of the other fantastic beaches are: Turners Beach, Convent Beach, Green Point, Whiting Beach, Pippi Beach and Flat Rock. Spooky Beach is ideal for children, and has excellent conditions for surfing and diving and has access for 4 wheel drive vehicles. You can cruise through myriads of wetlands, stroll, run or jog along the uncrowded beaches and relish Yamba`s climate. Yamba has a great range of recreation groups, swimming pools, golf course, bistros, bowling greens, fine bistros, cafes, movie theatres and a large deep-water marina. There is a wide range of entertainment venues and a full calendar of annual events.
